The Mundango Trust has been established to provide opportunities for young people in the Tumut and Braidwood region.
Mr Basil Vincent left a gift in perpetuity to the Royal Institute for Death and Blind Children and House With No Steps, an ongoing gift which will assist both organisations to make a difference for many children.
Basil was born in England and migrated to Australia in 1951 when he was 25 years of age to be with his parents and sister.
During his lifetime he had been a donor to charities for many years and was inspired to create a lasting legacy.
In his will, he created the Basil Vincent Memorial Fund, with income earned each year going to his two chosen charities.
Through memorial funds in their Will, everyday people like Basil can continue to benefit their supported charities as they have done throughout their lifetime.
