Colin was born in Goulburn in 1917 and in June of 1955 married Ruth Lambert in Canberra.

After serving in the 36th Battalion, Colin became a Catering Manager in the Public Service.

He passed away at the Jindalee Nursing Home, Narrabundah on his 90th birthday in March, 2007.

During Colin and Ruth’s lives they supported the RSPCA, Cancer Council, National Heart Foundation and Marymead Child and Family Centre.

In his Will, Colin ensured that this support continues into perpetuity through the creation of the memorial fund in his name.
